Charity: 2€ to Agape International Missions to fight human trafficking
In Japanese folklore, there are stories of children disappearing from their villages without a trace. A child’s footprints could be found, walking to the middle of a field, where the footprints would end with nowhere to go. Nowhere, but up. It was believed that these children were kamikakushi, hidden by the spirits. In some stories, the children returned to the village years later, “to see everyone one more time”, before disappearing never to be seen again. The children were believed to be enslaved by the kami, the spirits.
Agape International Missions
It’s estimated that 25 million people around the world are victims of forced labour. Human trafficking is the fastest growing global crime, worth around $100 billion every year. More than 70% of those victims are women and girls.
Agape International Missions works to end human trafficking and empower survivors of exploitation. With 12 programs on the ground in Cambodia impacting over 10,000 people every year, AIM is holistically stopping the cycle of exploitation by preventing human trafficking and rescuing, restoring and reintegrating survivors.
With the purchase of this shirt, 2€ will be donated to Agape International Missions, to help in the fight against human trafficking in Cambodia. If you’d like to learn more about AIM or donate more, go toagapewebsite.org.
